Fully Funded PhD in Community-Centric Heritage Tourism, UWS Scotland

The University of the West of Scotland (UWS) is advertising a fully funded PhD studentship in community-centric heritage tourism. The project explores how heritage tourism can support post-industrial regeneration, local empowerment, and sustainable development in Scotland.

The work uses qualitative research methods and close engagement with communities and stakeholders, examining how heritage tourism can be both economically generative and socially inclusive. The studentship is open to candidates who meet UK residency requirements; international candidates are not eligible for this particular funding.

For enquiries, applicants can contact Dr Masood Khodadadi at masood.khodadadi@uws.ac.uk.
