Positions & Opportunities Call for Papers

1st Call for Papers: 8th International Conference on Events (ICE2027) | Bangkok, 13–17 December 2027

The 8th International Conference on Events (ICE2027) will be held in Bangkok, Thailand, from 13 to 17 December 2027, under the theme "Making Waves in Thailand: Embracing the Past to Chart Our Futures in Events". Having previously convened in Bournemouth, Macao, Orlando, Cape Town, Warsaw, and Beijing, this edition is hosted by the Faculty of Architecture at Silpakorn University.

Events span a multifaceted field, taking in sports, cultural festivals, conferences and exhibitions, entertainment events, concerts, and themed catering functions, among many others. Technology brings people closer than ever, even as geopolitics, travel costs, and environmental concerns shape both the role of events in society and how people take part in them. In keeping with previous editions, ICE2027 features a diverse programme of presentations and workshops across many aspects of events.
