AIP 2026: Anthrozoology as International Practice Student Conference
May 11, 2026
Submissions are now open for the sixth annual Anthrozoology as International Practice (AIP) Student Conference, to be held online on 4–5 September 2026. The conference is free to attend and is open to students in Bachelor's, Master's, and Doctoral programs, as well as those between programs or recently graduated.
AIP is an international, online, free student conference organised entirely by volunteers passionate about promoting anthrozoology and human-animal studies, and about building a supportive network of early-career peers. It is a supportive and encouraging environment for students working in any human-animal studies, anthrozoology, or critical animal studies field, and an excellent opportunity to build a network of peers and early-career scholars.
The Call for Participant Applications (Presentation Abstracts) is now open and closes on 1 June 2026. The conference website also hosts summaries of previous conferences, FAQs, and detailed guidance on how to apply—including instructional videos for first-time presenters.
